  1. There is no free memory left. There is a lot of space used by recorded sounds and complicated pictures. For example, one second of sound uses as much memory as 15 pages of text. If you have a computer with more than 4 mb RAM, you can have more space by using the Get Info item from the Finder.

  3. This message may  occur, for example, when defining procedures or loading text. If you get this message:

  5. 1. Save the current project if you can.
  6. 2. Remove recorded sounds (with the remove command).
  7. 3. Clear the Clipboard by selecting and cutting a short text.
  8. 4. Use stopall to stop all processes and make sure that  
  9.     processes are not running on more than one page.
  10. 5. Use clearnames and recycle to clean up and 
  11.     reorganize available memory.
